Michael Jackson is very lucky that I'm not on his jury. The trial would have been over for me yesterday after hearing the testimony of that mother whose son was awarded money in the mid-90s.

For years Mr. Jackson's persona has been likened to a modern-day Peter Pan. The spin machine has told us that Michael prefers the company of children because he is childlike himself. His father Joe worked his children so hard that Michael never had his own childhood. Now, through the children that he helps, that are his companions, he's recapturing what he lost. Hence, he's Peter Pan in his own multi-million dollar Never-land.

Somehow the world has bought into this along with his self-mutilation, unusual fashion sense & bizarre collectibles. We believed he was isolated, misunderstood, eccentric. Now, all should see him for what he truly is, a calculated pedophile, who seduced his victims & their families with the allure of his fame & all it provides.

I have two brothers. If a middle-aged man had shown up at my father's door asking to sleep with one of them, my dad would have kicked the crap out of him. Then he would've called the police to pick up the refuse. Nothing would have pulled the wool over my skeptical dad's eyes, for he knew & taught us that "Nothing in life is free. Anything you get, you pay for one way or another."

For God's sake, sane people don't even let relatives sleep with their children, unless they've had a nightmare or some other trauma. So it had to be the seduction of fame. And Michael knew had to use that so well, he convinced himself that he was doing nothing wrong.

Let's forget about the "alleged" drinking since most boys crave the idea of "forbidden" alcohol. My brothers were both masters of siphoning off liquor from the bar in our basement. Let's focus on the testimony of the mother whose child got the big payday in the 90s. The following refers to an incident in Las Vegas at the Mirage hotel.

"He was sobbing, shaking, trembling. He said, 'You don't trust me. We're a family. Why won't you allow him to be in my bedroom?" the woman testified.

She said Jackson also told her there was "nothing going on" and again asked if she didn't trust him.

She said she finally relented and the next day Jackson gave her a gold Cartier bracelet."

I've never sobbed over the hottest of men if he wouldn't sleep with me. Stating that "nothing's going on" certainly smacks of a guilty conscience. The only times I ever made those statements, voluntarily or otherwise, was when I had something to hide. The kicker: the guilt offering of a Cartier bracelet.

Let's continue... After the Las Vegas incident, the boy was constantly with Jackson. He even came to the family's Santa Monica home and stayed there with the boy. This is COURTSHIP. This is an AFFAIR!

"Did Mr. Jackson ever spend nights at your residence?" asked District Attorney Tom Sneddon.

"Yes ... more than 30 times," she said. "And where would he stay?" asked Sneddon.

"In (my son's) bedroom," she said.

The mother also testified that Michael would leave when her son went to school & return when he got home. She also revealed that her son became increasingly aloof from the family & began dressing like Jackson. What made this woman DEAF, DUMB & BLIND to this obvious affair? Again in her own words.....

She said they made trips to Disney World in Florida in May 1993 and later to Monaco, where she and her daughter went on a shopping spree funded by the star.
That June, she said, Jackson gave her a necklace, a pair of earrings and a ring. He later gave her a $7,000 gift certificate to a West Hollywood boutique.

It wasn't until her brother "raised concerns" that she told Mr. Jackson "that she wanted her son back." What is the difference between Jackson's behavior & the flesh peddlers of China & Thailand that travel to remote villages & buy impoverished families' daughters for the sex trade? Answer: Just more dollars & fame's patina.

This foolish, duped woman has gotten her due. She's been estranged from her son for over eleven years. Her son knows the score. His mother sold him out to a famous wacko for her own greed. Both will carry this pain for the rest of their lives. However, there can not be any more tolerance of Michael Jackson's behavior. Lift the blindfold from your eyes, world. See him for what he is, a stone-cold predator sugarcoated like candy.
